This productive 2.4 acre (1 hectare) farm is planted with mature teak, coffee, bamboo, banana, plantain, avocado, mandarin, and cacao. 

The property has a spring-fed creek and the water is exceptionally clean, providing a year-round source of water for irrigation and/or a future homesite.

 

 

The property has a large flat area the the middle that would be ideal for a secluded home that is surrounded by stunning views of nature.

 

The property has road access, access to electricity, and internet. It is fenced with durable mesquite posts and 4-strand barbed wire.

 

 

The hillside of the property (1.15 acres / 4,666 sq m) is planted with 450 mature teak trees (planted in 2014). The teak could be harvested now if desired. Multiple harvests can be made off of teak as they grow back quickly and as such, would provide a diversified income source.

 

The lower portion of the property (~1.24 acres / ~5,000 sq m) has 1,400 producing coffee plants (3 coffee varieties, planted in 2021-2022), approximately 400 plantain and banana trees, as well as productive plantings of cacao (chocolate), avocado, mandarin, and bamboo.

 

The property also boasts mature native hardwood trees. The local caretaker has worked with the owner for over 10 years and could continue managing the property if you desired him to do so.

 

 

The beach surf town of Canoa is just a short 3 miles away (5 km) and boasts miles of wide, sandy beaches. Canoa is also one of Ecuador's top surfing and paragliding locations. 

 

The town of Canoa offers a multitude of beachfront restaurants and bars. You can horseback ride, take surfing lessons, paraglide or just hang out with a cold beer in a hammock! The city of Bahia de Caraquez is a 25 minute drive from the property and has medical facilities, banks, and a major shopping mall.
